National Parks
There are ten national parks in Uganda which include wildlife national park and mountaineering. Mt.Rwenzori and Mt.Elgon national park are famous for hiking. Then, Murchison falls national park, Kidepo Valley National park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Lake Mburo National park are famous for game drive and boat cruise. Kibale Forest national park which is a home to 13 primate species among which is a highest concentration of chimpanzees in Africa is popular destination for chimpanzee tracking. Then, Bwindi impenetrable Forest national park is very popular for gorilla tracking, being a home to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Mgahinga national park is also most visited for gorilla tracking and golden monkey tracking.
Murchison falls in Murchison falls National park form part of the world wonder as they are one of the most powerful falls in the word where the might Nile forces itself through a 7 meter gorge plunging down a 20 meter cliff with a thunderous roar.
